This is an Ibanez PF-400BK in nice and clean shape shape. This is an unusual uncatalogued version, these were made for the EU/German market in 94 and were made in Korea. Quality is very high, in fact until I spoke to Ibanez about it I was certain it was Japanese. It looks very good and only has the typical wear and scratches- no bare wood showing or anything out of the ordinary. Some tarnishing of the gold hardware. The pickups are DiMarzio Super Distortion which could be original, but that is not certain. The serial no starts out S40, which per Ibanez means Samick factory 1994. Other than the pickups, everything else appears original. Per Ibanez- " All indicators point to this being a PF400BK reissue. As was mentioned, this was made in the Samick factory in Korea in 1994. Everything about this guitar: Machine heads, knobs, bridge, tailpiece, pickup rings, knobs, truss rod cover, serial number all consistent with the Korean reissue PF400BK. Hope this helps "
